Parents' Forum – A chance to have your say
Parents' Forum is your opportunity to become involved in the decision-making that shapes learning and school life for your child at Glebelands.
The aims and objectives are as follows:
- To represent the views of as many parents as possible to the school
- To support the school to improve learning outcomes and well being for all pupils
- To act as a sounding board for future developments
- To receive feedback from the school
We are looking for considered, balanced and constructive feedback on a range of relevant topics.
Putting your views and opinions across is important, not only for the school, but also because it gives you the chance to influence your child's learning experience.
The main way the forum works is through an open meeting that all parents are welcome to attend. A member of the leadership team at Glebelands will also be in attendance. The minutes are passed to the school, and are available to all parents.
The meeting dates are on the calendar section of the website.
Meetings start at 7pm and usually take place in the Learning Resources Room.
To involve those parents who might not be able to attend meetings, during the coming school year feedback and comments on individual issues are invited by email.
Parents' Forum is chaired by Nigel Sanctuary and the secretary is Cath George.
Don't miss the opportunity to keep in touch and have your say.
Parents' Forum is not a surgery for individual student issues, which should be taken up with the relevant staff at the school, and is not to be confused with Glebelands School Trust, which is a fund-raising body. For details of the trust, please click here.
Parent View gives you the chance to tell us what you think about Glebelands.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of our school, from the quality of teaching, to behaviour. By sharing your views, you will be helping us to improve.
