During Learning 4 Life lessons, Year 11 students have prepared a Record of Achievement, containing a CV, personal statement, work experience statement and any certificates they have gained. These were collected in and given to the interviewers on Practice Interview Day. Year 11 students were assessed on appearance, eye contact, body language, and enthusiasm. The students came to school dressed smartly, as if they were attending a real interview. There were 15 interviewers, including Colin Young, Graham Rapley, Dan Coleman, and members of Cranleigh Rotary Club. I would like to thank these interviewers for giving up a day of their valuable time to conduct the interviews. Having read the student evaluation forms, most students said how nervous they felt before the day, but feel the interview has helped to prepare them for their college and job interviews.
