On Friday 17th May all Year 10 students went to Merrist Wood for a Skills Festival.  This event was intended to encourage and support students in order to promote progression into higher education or training related employment beyond eighteen years of age.  Education providers and employers were there offering interactive exhibits, so the students could experience the full range of opportunities available to them.  Students had a great time trying activities from plumbing, to tree surgery climbing, building bird boxes and animal care.
