On Friday 18th May, all of the Year 10 students went to Merrist Wood College for a Skills Festival.

The event was intended to encourage and support students in order to promote progression into higher education or training related employment beyond eighteen years of age.  Local education providers and employers were offering interactive exhibits which the enabled the students to experience the full range of opportunities available to them.  The students had a great time trying all the activities which included plumbing, beauty therapy and tree surgery climbing.
