Prom at the polo club

The Class of 2015 students at Glebelands school pulled out the stops to say their 'Goodbyes' in style last week.
Dressed to impress, 160 school leavers arrived for their prom at the Hurtwood Park Polo and Country Club in some weird and wonderful sets of wheels. These ranged from a tractor to a vintage fire engine and some very flash sports cars. It was not just the girls that really dressed to impress as nine young gentlemen drew up in wild and wacky colourful suits to join the party in open jeeps.

"Last week's prom was the thing they have been looking forward to for the last five years and I hope that they will all remember this event, and their Leavers’ Day, for many years to come" said their Head of Achievement, Sandra Hearn.  "They have been a terrific year group and it will be sad to see them go. I hope that they get the results they deserve in August as a reward for all of their hard work."
